We are super excited to announce our new Forest School outdoor activity sessions. BEE Adventures believes in bringing outdoor accessibility to all!

We understand schools have limited budgets on adventures away from school and we understand the cost involved in transportation and residential trips, so we've developed specific sessions that can be delivered on the school grounds.

*Sessions can be adapted for special educational needs.

About the Sessions

We all learn in different ways, sometimes the classroom is not always the best setting for individuals, speaking from experience the things we remember from school were all practical. By blending the curriculum with outdoor education we can extend our reach for teaching. The sessions come with full session plans, teaching goals, and risk assessments.

  • Navigation (Compass + Maps)

  • Camp Craft (Shelter building)

  • Team Building (Outdoor wide games)

  • Wild Survival (Fire starting + SOS)

Children Playing in Park
Children Running
  • Orienteering (Grid references + Games)

  • Environmental Awareness (Nature + Animals)

  • Outdoor Health and Fitness (Wide Games)

  • Conservation (Bug houses + Tree Planting)

BEE Adventures wants to give children the opportunity to make a positive impact on themselves and their community. We believe giving children recognition and rewarding them for problem-solving, teamwork, building self-confidence, and well-being can drastically improve their lives. That why we have proudly teamed up with the charity FOTA who supports disadvantaged young people to achieve the Duke of Edinburgh Award and JASS (Junior Award Scheme for Schools).

This collaboration means we are now the proud exclusive distributor of the Junior Award Scheme for Schools in North Lancashire and South Cumbria.

JASS is a fully inclusive, holistic, progressive learning accredited award scheme for young people aged 5 – 14 years. It develops interpersonal skills: communication, problem-solving, and teamwork: and builds self-confidence and a sense of well-being. JASS has been designed to recognise wider achievement.
