What You Need To Bring?

To ensure safety in the mountains it's important to have the correct kit!​

Hiking Day Trips

Essentials

​

  • Backpack (20-40 litre max)

  • Waterproof Jacket and pants 

  • Walking Boots/Shoes (Click for more info)

  • Walking trousers/shorts (No Jeans)

  • Fleece

  • Gloves

  • Hat

  • Lunch (sandwiches are ideal)

  • Snacks 

  • Water (minimum 1 litre)

  • Personal First Aid/medication

Recommended Extras​

  • Buff/Neck Warmer

  • Walking Poles

  • Waterproof Drybag

  • Walking socks

  • Flask With Hot Drink

  • Head Torch

  • Camera/Phone to remember the good times!

  • Warm clothes for the evening. (Insulated jackets are great and double up as a pillow)

  • Insect head net and repellent (ESSENTIAL IN SCOTLAND)

  • Towel (Microfibre towels are small, lightweight and quick to dry.)

  • Very small lightweight camping chair is not essential but comfortable in the evening.

No kit? We got you covered!

BEE Adventures is built for beginners so we don't expect everyone to have the best most amazing outdoor kit, we have lots of spare waterproof jacket, waterproof pants, hats, gloves you can borrow for free. Please just let us know in advance so we make sure to pack them.
