Pavey Ark, Pike Of Stickle & Harrison Stickle! Minibus Transport & Guide Included.

When you think about the Lake District, this is the postcard picture of the Langdale Pikes. Starting in the Great Langdale Valley at New Dungeon Ghyll we will head up to Stickle Tarn, a stunning tarn nestled among the mountains. Once there we will make our way round to Pavey Ark, Pike of Stickle and Harrison Stickle. Overlooking the valley, we will head back down to Stickle Tarn following the stream.

 

It takes approximately 4 - 5 hours to follow this route.

This event is in total 9.4 km and a well-rewarded day out! Once at the start of the hike, you will be led by trained mountain leaders all through the route.

On the day

8.00am - Pick-up 1 - One of our beautiful minibuses (Pictured below) will be parked waiting outside the National Express coach station on Chorlton Street, Manchester. Roughly 5 min walk from Piccadilly.

9.00am - Pick-up 2 - Lancaster Park and Ride, we will pull up at the bus stop opposite the back car park. (Free Parking all day)

​

9:45am - Service stop for refreshments for 20 minutes.

​

10:30am - We will arrive at Dungeon Ghyll pub car park, a little introduction from our mountain leaders about the day and then begin our walk. (Toilet facilities are available in the car park).

​

5pm - Arrive back down from walk latest with lots of smiles! Depart from car park.

​

5:45pm - Service stop for refreshments for 20 minutes.

​

6.30pm - Drop off 1 - Lancaster Park and Ride.

​

7:30pm - Drop off 2 - Arrive back at Chorlton Street, Manchester for departure. With some great memories!
