Join BEE Adventures for a refreshing guided hike up Gummer’s How, a low-level Lake District gem with unbeatable views over Lake Windermere. This circular route offers gentle terrain, inspiring scenery and the perfect chance to reset your mind after the busyness of December. Our qualified guides will support all abilities, so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
At the summit, take in the crisp winter air and soak up panoramic views of Windermere and the surrounding fells, a moment to reflect, recharge and look ahead to the year to come.
Following our hike, we’ll head to the picturesque town of Bowness-on-Windermere. Here, you can visit the many charming cafes, stroll through the quaint streets and discover a variety of unique shops and boutiques.

On the day
8.00am - Pick-up - we will be parked waiting outside the National Express coach station on Chorlton Street, Manchester. Roughly 5 min walk from Piccadilly.
9.00am - Service stop for refreshments.
9.20am - Second pick-up at Lancaster Park and Ride.
10.30am - We arrive at the car park to begin our walk.
1pm - Depart from car park and head to Bowness on Windermere.
2pm - Depart for home.
3pm - First Drop-off at Lancaster Park and Ride.
3.10pm - Service stop for refreshments.
5.00pm - Drop-off - Arrive back at Chorlton Street, Manchester for departure. With some great memories!
