Carrauntoohil is the highest mountain in the UK at 1038m. This is a challenging walk but well worth the reward. Ferry Travel and minibus transport to and from the starting point is included and it's fully guided.

We will start from Manchester, drive over to Holyhead in Wales for the Ferry to Dublin, we'll stay 3 nights.

​

Accommodation:
Camping - Included in price. Hot Showers, Toilets, Lounge area and cafe on site. 

​

Refreshed from your nights' sleep we will start the walk from the Cornins Yard up the Devil's ladder route for our hike. The hike to the top should take approximately 4 hours to the highest point in Ireland!!! Following the same path down should take about the same time, then we'll head back to a local Irish pub for food and rest.

​

The next day to make the most of Ireland the BEE Adventures team will take us around the ring of Kerry to visit some local heritage sites, then back for another night at the campsite. 

​

Day 4 will consist of an early pack-up and a drive back to Dublin for our ferry home, we'll then head back to sunny Manchester and home safely. 

​

Please note: Carrauntoohil is a large mountain, it is a challenging walk and a good fitness level is required. (Similar to Ben Nevis) This hike is not for beginners.

On the day

Day 1

5:00am - Manchester Chorlton street > Port 2h 26mins (Break along the way)

8:00am - Arrive at Holyhead port

9:00am - Ferry Leaves

12:15pm - Arrive in Dublin

13:15pm - Leave Dublin > Killarney 3h 54mins (Break along the way)

18:15pm - Arrive at Killarney

Day 2

8:00am - Leave Killarney 30mins (12miles)

8:30am - Arrive at Cornins Yard

17:00pm - Finish walk

17:30pm - Arrive at Killarney

Day 3

The Ring of Kerry tour. Rest day.

​

Day 4

9:00am - Leave Killarney > Dublin 3h 54mins (Rest stops along the way)

13:45pm - Arrive at the port

14:45pm - Ferry Leaves

18:20pm - Arrive at Holyhead

18:50pm - Set off for Chorlton Street (Break along the way)

20:30pm - Arrive back in Manchester
