Great Gable is one of the Lake District’s more challenging but spectacular mountain days! This mountain is completely isolated so if you’re looking for a completely wild adventure, you’ve found it. Along this journey, we will climb 5 mountains, so if you’re looking to bag some wainwrights you can add Great Gable, Green Gable, Grey Knotts and Brandreth to your list. The drive alone takes us through the northern Lake District’s enchanting countryside with dramatic mountain scenery. Join us on our day trips from Manchester today.

A general level of fitness is required as you will be walking for 6 hours at a steady pace. We welcome anyone to join us! We have guided all abilities around the mountains, and we believe there is no better achievement than stepping out of your comfort zone!
