This picturesque mountain walk a stones throw away from Grasmere Village will take us into the heart of the Lake District around the stunning fells towering the local villages.

The walk takes up to Helm Crag which the locals call the “Lion and the Lamb” due to the shapes at the top, then we’ll weave through the large rocks to Gibson Knott and Calf Crag (3 Wainwrights) then back down through the village of Grasmere where you can try the famous gingerbread.

This walk gives you plenty of picture opportunities. It takes approximately 6 hours to walk 13km covering 3 mountains.
